I just released Fern, a standalone Windows app that turns any image into a seamless, tileable texture — built for 3D, ArchViz, and game artists.
What it does
Drop in a photo, hit Generate, and you get a clean, ready-to-tile texture. No Photoshop tricks, no manual edge-blending.
AI Neural synthesis (VGG19 deep-feature) — edges loop perfectly, every time
Offset & Blend mode — fast and lightweight, no GPU needed
Repeat hotspot detection — problem areas auto-flagged and fixed
Tiling preview with zoom & pan — check the result before exporting
Fix / Inpaint and Mirror brush for manual control
Requirements
Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit)
AI Neural needs an NVIDIA (CUDA) GPU; Offset & Blend runs without one
During install, PyTorch (~2.5 GB) is downloaded automatically for AI Neural
