Ferrari Enzo

Little project of mine, this is a fairly early pic but it’s coming along nicely.
Mostly, I wanted some suggestions on how to get it looking more like metal/car paint, or if it’s even possible with blender internal.

I could also run it through my collection of renderers besides blender: Yafray, POVray, Indigo, Kerkythea… :eyebrowlift2:

you can get the sonix car material library there are some nice paints in there just google it up

Awsome, thanks wert.
Here’s with the updated texture.

Okay, enough about the texture, I should get back to modeling it now, lol…

That’s looking pretty good:) How do you make the cracks between the panels?

I’m still working on the headlight, it’s being a pain…
As for the cracks, I’m not very good at explaining it, I’ll post a little tutorial soon for ya.
btw, I’m using subsurfed polys for this, not NURBS…

here’s my little tutorial for making car panel things…
I hope you can understand it.

okay, minor question (and bump :p)
is the steering wheel supposed to be on the right side or left?

The steering wheel would probably suit American standards, which means it’s on the left, from the drivers perspective. And thanks for the tut:)
