Fiat 500 model

Hello!

After trying with very bad results to model a VW Beetle, I decided to follow Karabo’s Fiat 500 modeling tutorial (http://www.3dtotal.com//team/Tutorials/fiat500/fiat500.php).

The progress and “final” result, using both Blender internal and Yafaray, can be seen on my YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/Urenze

I know there are many things that could be corrected. The one I would be very grateful to know about is why there is so much noise in the Yafaray renders; there are odd, grainy glares on the model; little white dots here and there.

And below is an still image of one of the Yafaray + sunsky renders I did.

Thanks!

That looks GREAT!!!
The only thing i would fix and this is on the youtube vid is the paint doesnt look quite right, it looks wet.

But other than that it looks really good.

fab, you tried hypershot??
http://www.bunkspeed.com/hypershot/
its really good for this type of thing.

Hey, thanks!

About the paint, well, yes; I’ve tried to find good specs for the Yafaray shaders, but could not find any. At least I was able to render it with Yafaray, because previously I got nothing but overexposed, horrible images. I’m fairly new at 3D, with only 2 months of effective experience, so I hope to get better… someday

Trying LuxBlender for the first time. The light causes the front to be a little overexposed, and couldn’t manage to configure the use of textures, but for a test is ok.
