File Append With Dependecnies.

Hi All,

Is there a way to append an object with it’s dependencies?

Say I have a cube and it has an array modifier and it’s object offset is using an empty.

If I import the cube, I am not going to get the empty am I? Even something as simple as allowing multiple selections on the input would help.

Is there any planned development for improving the Append feature?

Hi,

Use the right-mouse button for multiple selections.

Yes, whenever you append multiple things at once all the inter-dependencies are preserved.

Whenever you create a file that will be used that way, you should put all the things like that into a group, so you can append the group and get all the stuff that goes together.
