files .dds and blender

Hello everybody,

I would like got back one object in blender.
For this object, I have files linen-blue.dds and linen-red.dds?
Being a beginner, I would like to know how may I get back these textures (or colors?) and put back them on my object? Is it possible?

I don’t know about using the .dds file itself, but it looks like you can convert it to another format that Blender is compatible with. I can’t install it on the computers here at school to test it, but http://www.imageconverterplus.com/ looks like it can do the job.

Although you are probably not planning to export to the NIF format, look up niftools. It will allow you to use DDS files.
