Hello, i am following a tutorial for beginners and it tells me to press shift A with all vertices selected to fill the faces, however, when i press it a sort of invisible square with only the corners shows and the screen slightly and slowly tilts, what am i doing wrong?
p.s im on blender 2.62

Use Alt+F to fill faces or just F for a single 3 or 4 vertex face
If you mean Shift+F, that is fly navigation mode
