film Gimp (Gimp for image sequences)

Just wanted to pass this a long - looks awesome,
Film Gimp released for Macintosh OS X

Film Gimp, the most popular open source tool in feature motion picture work, has released its first Macintosh version. Film Gimp is now available for Mac OS X, Linux, and SGI Irix. Film Gimp is a frame-by-frame retouching tool used by motion picture studios as an alternative tool to Adobe Photoshop. http://cgw.pennnet.com/Articles/Article_Display.cfm?Section=OnlineArticles&SubSection=Display&PUBLICATION_ID=18&ARTICLE_ID=163140

I’ve never tried Film Gimp since it appears not to be working together with Gimp. I read that they are about to fix that thought.

Where did you read that? On the sourceforge page they say they are vey seperate. Any leads would be appreciated.

wow, they didn’t much use gimp or film gimp for their site

that must be one of the most old fashioned sites I’ve seen for years.

and don’t get me wrong, I dont have anything against simple web pages, no no no… but this particular, just looks horrible.
actually, I think it’s not even made as web page, it’s just converted into html.
