Hi. I am trying to track the source mesh of a linked mesh.
When using the Blender File in the Outliner, the link paths do not seem to correspond to this mesh. But when I try to look for the original mesh in my scene, I can not find it either.
Is there any other way to track the source mesh so I can modify something?
Thank you

Select the object, go to the object properties tab, and click the icon on the left side of the box at the top:

If it is a link to a different file, you might be able to locate a path using this view…

Not there, I tried that. I usually do that, but it seems to be inside. I am not sure why I can not find it, I will try with the other solution-
Thank you

There isnt any trace of linked files. You can see the icon does not show the chain icon.
Thank you

Ok, I found the “issue”. The Linked mesh source is placed in a scene with other linked meshes. Stupid mistake.
I apologise and thank you.
