Finished any games?

Just wondering how many people have finished games and how many have managed it just using logic bricks. By a game I mean one that works and has textures. Not something you started that kind of works, sometimes.

i would consider my contest game finished, and i used a small bit of python in it, i think i used 106 different scripts. If you havent learned python, learn it, its way handy to use.

I’ve finished tons of games! One of which took over a year to develop!

i interpret a finished game to be those with at LEAST 30-40 minutes of gameplay(minus the cutscenes! and minus the time it takes to solve a ridulously hard puzzle to which an answer is random!) and unless its a sports game of some sort…
to which i have made none =D

pp, youve finished tons of games? anything with long gameplay like that? and link please?

Forum pervert???!?!? It doesn’t say that in his profile. Care to explain that one blengine?

Keith.

blengine didn’t do that, Plant’s ranking actually says “Forum Pervert” @ 69 posts. Kib has a naughty sense of humor.

Where does it say that?? not in his profile, that says Forum Groupie. and it says Forum Groupie under his name in his posts as well.

Back to the topic, there are a few games on my site. Not long ones, thought I have about 50 10% done. But that number has stayed relatively the same for a few years now…

Finish a game… i’ve said i would a couple times, but it never really worked out. I still work on Roller every now and then though, and that has about 30 minutes of gameplay if you’ve got the hang of it (otherwise it’ll take you about 3 hours to finish  ).

Yeah, plantperson still says 69 and it says Forum Groupie. I guess Kib must of changed it. But that was pretty funny.

Well, finished really depends on the game. Just because a game has 30-40 minutes of gameplay, it doesn’t mean it’s finished. Some games are meant to be really short, and may only have 5-10 minutes of gameplay.

I’ve never finished, as my games are always too ambitious, although my speed game contest entry, Ploing, had 10 levels and about 30 minutes of gameplay, I suppose you could call it finished.

I made a finished game for my hubby for Valentine’s day. It took maybe 5-10 minutes to play, but it was definitly finished. I used only logic bricks because I am just now starting to learn python.

ok ummmmm LINKS plant?

that goes to the rest of ya too

doogs

Guess I’ve finished about a dozen games. Some short, some longer. Not much Python, like dreamsgate I’ve just

started learning it. Spent the last few weeks upgrading my Snooker game to score automatically. (mammoth

task!) It’s the nearest thing to a professional game I’ve done. It’s on my site for anyone who’s interested in

Snooker. Works quite well and you don’t need to know the rules as the computer guides you through the game.

jrt.

I haven’t finished a game yet, but I’ve almost finished one. It is where you fly a steryotipical UFO through and optical course without being seen. It’s really cheap, and you’d be bored of it the first time you play it, unless you’re like me nd have nothing better to do in your spare time but make and play games and post things here, which I guess just about covers everybody.

P.S., jrt, where’s your site?

Hi bafoon,
Like the name btw. My site is here:-

http://www.whealprussia.freeserve.co.uk

I didn’t bother putting a link as most of my games have been posted before and I thought I’d wait to see if there was any new interest.

desperandum,
If you have any problem with the Pool game, I have a
low poly version I can upload.

Thanks for the interest guys, jrt.

Sorry desperandum, I just realised the original post was yours. I’ve uploaded the low poly Pool game anyway as I remembered that I had changed some of the controls in that one and I think it plays better than the 1st version.

Cheers jrt.

Sweet games!! The cloud Hopping one is very creative with the sounds and all.

I see one flaw in the TubeLoop game- you can just go around everything and skip the wire.

The Multilevel Cloud game doesn’t work- it’s a .blend1 file, and I cant open it.
