Well, I think you know what a lot of buttons do. I really can’t say anything bad about it. It’s quite good.

Wow very nice! I think it could benefit very much from a better environment. It looks good tho!

dante

if that’s a vacuum cleaner, you gotta send me one

i’m looking forward to your work when you do know what all the buttons do  nice!

heheh … this whole thing was really just a matter of save and test …
Id just save where I liked it , play with a button and see what it does …

This is my mobile mech battle/design station ,
Hence the monitors and machinegun LOL

And the " digital eye "

I was afraid to try it out actually ,
but its not that hard at all …
been playing for a little bit and here is what I came up with …
Maybe I should put this back in WIP .

your textures are too low quality to use big like that… (I’m talking about the background walls)
they don’t look right… they are too big… I think the first image is better here…

model is very nice!

.b

is that why there is that grainy feel in the top right of the wall … ?
what size textures are best to use ?

5000 x 5000

the bigger the better.

yeah, i agree with basse, also you might want to model the rivets or screws on the floor if they are going to be that big, not just texture them.

5000x5000 eh …
:o

will try that out and post the results

Hey MGK, I wonder if you are related to mgkdesign, UK…

It appears to have turned out pretty well. btw you don’t need textures quite as big as 5000x5000, but like GFX said, the bigger (more high resolution) the better.

This is real nice. Right, and you only know a few buttons, hehe.

the image seems to be unavailable. you might want to check your server

yeah , server was down today .
and I didnt catch it :o

I gotta few web projects I have to do today , but Ill post a new render soon with the new texture maps ,
Came out WAY nicer .
Crisp rusty walls

How do you get the best render quality … smooth shapes
Default does a good Job , but is that the " best job " etc ?

:o Update up top

the image is still very cluttered, i would tone down the reflection some, and use less busy textures
