(Finished!) Starling class Fighter

That’s odd. Another way to export UV face layouts is to go to FILE>Dump Subwindow while in UV/image editor. It won’t be as clean and nifty as the script but it still works. And even if it can’t be exported, it’s still unwraped and you can still apply textures that way.

you are right, it dosent give the same results, it dosent really work well with dump subwindow…

anyway, some wires while we wait…

did this for fun! let me know what you think! http://img61.imageshack.us/my.php?image=starlingstellarlightvr8.jpg

Good idea, but its painfully missing a background, just black kills it in my opinion.

ooops, sorry borgleader, i forgot how much you hate plain black, here is one just for you

Starling Class Fighter… http://img218.imageshack.us/my.php?image=starlingsupersenewr1.jpg

looks awesome!, i noticed in the earlier pictures that the supports weren’t quite touching the armor plates on the full area of the circle. do they now?

The model itself looks movie quality!

yes, the supports do touch he armour plates now, and THANKS!

P.S, do you think it is ready for finished projects?

There might be several errors. What platform are you using? If it is windows make sure you installed python 2.5. Also choose the correct format or else you might get that error (at least I did). SVG or PNG works good for me.
BTW you have come a great way from your first model to this fighter. Like the last pic also I think you should lessen the exhaust effect some.

ok, i will lessen exhausts for the finished project version. And thanks!
