here you go here you go http://youtu.be/aS0Cafkenwk

hmm, i see no reason for the scene not to work, you may need to update your graphics card driver (download an upto date driver from the graphics card manufaturers wbsite) or file a bug report (in the help menu at the top of blender)

i tried to download an up to date driver from graphics card manufaturer through their website. Unfortuntely, it was not able to download and has to use computer manufactuer to download it. I tested it and still not work…I also report bug. I am thinking about use 2.5 tutorial version for 2.6 just for now till i figure to get graphics card to download later. So, thank you for helping me out with alot of patient. I am working on project and hold smoke sim.

i finally get fire on ball to throw into air and into hoop couple night ago. I use particle setting and not use smoke simulation. it looks so cool… i don’t mind to not use smoke on it. It looks like sparkle into air… http://youtu.be/tUBH0rGeg9g

looks good. if your happy with the sparkle effect you could always adjust the materials to create like hot sparks, using the blender guru sparks tutorial. http://www.blenderguru.com/videos/how-to-make-sparks/

awesome tutorial! i can us that for my project to see some adjust material like hot sparks…
