Firing issues.

Can anyone tell me why the turret won’t shoot?

the y axis of the turret child object is pointing down, fix that and it works fine

Another question:

Is there any way to improve the collision detection of the bullets? Also, the grounding sensor doesn’t seem to work for my movement script, so I effectively have a jetpack. What went wrong?

put a ray on the bullets and use that to detect collision.

The ray will also be useful down the road when you want to place bullethole effects or whatnot
