first architectual render

Inspired by a few scenes that I saw on free3dtutorials.com, I decided to take a whack at making my own interior architectural render. This was also an experiment in NURBS modeling, which I used to make the lamp, chairs, coffee table, and statue. I am considering rendering this in Kerkythea, which I have just started learning. Most of the scene is done,
excepting lighting and post production. Tell me what you think, and be brutal.

Enjoy.

This is really nice for a first render and I’m looking forward to seeing it with the lighting completed. Is that a row of spotlights on the ceiling pointing towards the back wall?

The couch and front chair look to be floating a little bit, but I’m not sure if this has to do with the lighting or camera angle. Nice work though, keep it up.

Thanks for the comments, and yes, those are spotlights.

Sorry that it’s been awhile, but here is a new render. I would love some C&C.

Enjoy.

Good, it’s much better

I tweaked the shaders in this one a little bit.
