I thought that maybe the ramp shader feature might be able to simulate the reflection on a CD. Here’s my attempt at it.

The disc isn’t reflecting anything. Put in an environment. Also, the band of colours should extend radially out from the center; they are straight lines not curved like the way in your image.

partly true - but you can get a band like the lower portion of that image.
