First attempt at a realistic interior render

Hi,

This is my first real attempt at a photorealistic interior render (first attempt at a serious render period, actually). Everything I have learned so far is pretty much from tutorials and looking at other people’s work, and I would greatly appreciate criticism and feedback.

Thank you very much!

Modeling was done in Blender, rendering was done with Yaf(a)ray 0.1.0, postprocessing was done in Gimp (overlaying photon map and AO images and adding the background).

Credit for the chair and table and brass material goes to katorlegaz.com, with modifications and conversion of materials to Yaf(a)ray, Official Blender Repository for the wood tile, and freenaturepictures.com for the background.

Sorry, perhaps I wasn’t clear enough - I am looking particularly for feedback regarding lighting, though any feedback would be great.

Thanks!
