I think you could turn up the hardness in the material setting so that the hood isnt so washed out with the sun.
The driver is out doing what bears do in the woods.

Ok, I found some time to try a new render of my jeep. I added bolts, and water and trees. The water and trees are from Blender Model Repository(they are not mine) but I tweaked them a little bit to my liking. I tried to make the headlights transparent and I tried to add smoke, but it didn’t work so maybe I will try later for a more dark and blowing up war scene.
