Nice Idea!
I once saw a device that worked with Max/Character Studio, that lets you adjust facial expressions etc using a bank of mixing desk-style faders. If blender could be made to respond to MIDI then a fairly cheap MIDI fader box could be used to control it (some thing like http://www.kentonuk.com/products/cfrk_studio.shtml )
Anyway, I may have completely misunderstood the aims of the project or got a bit carried away, so I’ll shut up
If only I could run this!
Yet another program useless to me because Blender on Mac OS X can’t import “.so” modules. “Array” is a no-go, along with “math” and “struct” etc.
Too bad… this sounds right up my alley as I’m a MIDI musician as well as a blenderhead.
