I’ve just started on my new short movie. I can’t post anything yet, but I need advice first. What is the best way to make clouds? Particles are a real pain.
Edit: this movie is going to be a major waste of time because it’s going to suck.

I haven’t tried this, so I don’t know how hard it is. But those are two examples of volumetric clouds, which is what you are probably after, using the ‘TraShadow’ button.

When you see it, it’s going to be really stupid because it’s an inside joke and you won’t get it. By the way, I got help from bigbad with the clouds.
You can use Google Video to upload it, if you nothing else. You need to sing up an account, which is free. And ytou need to upload it, after that you haveta wait for it to be accepted, which takes about 1 to 3 days. But it’s free, so it’s worth it.
