My first use at textures and i bit of compositing, enjoyed it
Any Ideas on how i can improve the image or scene ?
Appreciate any comments.

Have you tried bump mapping? The table could use some, to make it a little more realistic. Also, I don’t think I’ve ever seen screws that shiny.
You could also use a specular map to distinguish between the two different wood textures you’re using. There’s a lot you can do with just a simple scene.
I agree the glare is a bit overdone, and you could do different things like bump mapping to help distinguish between the 2 textures.
I’d try rendering it using the new Cycles engine, you will need to redo the materials, but you will have a more realistic image (the glowing lines on the spheres will actually emit light for example)
