So, I have a glass cup with textures applied, in the scene surrounded by planes with collision applied that are set to transparent because I just want the collision as the clip is to be layered over an AE/PP project I’m working on. The simulation works perfectly how I’d like, no issues previewing it in viewport or lag. My issue is now that I have it all baked, when I hit render the program instantly crashes. It wasn’t crashing when I was testing out non-physics renders. I don’t know if the issue is my ram because my pc is 16gb r5 3500 cpu and rx 5700 xt gpu. If that’s not enough then i’ll happily upgrade my ram, i would just like to know because this is driving me mental haha.
Well yeah, it should work tho. Anyway, try to hide something from your scene (like that subdivided glass), undo your baking, bake again and try to render.
Just hide that glass from being in the final render using camera icon in your outliner. Don’t need to delete it tho.
