First time using 3D modeling software

Hi,I started learning Blender a short time ago and I want to achieve something like this:

But after many tries I still don’t like my result at all.How could I improve my skill, and get the desired result? Do you have tips or where to start learning(especially low poly)?

Mayge CGgeeks tutorial is a good place to start:

The picture you referenced looks like it is sculpted, but with a low-poly style in mind (which is cool I think). So you would probably start to box model the elephant and keep it really simple.
This tutorial looks like it’s made for you

Then go to sculpt mode and use a lot of scrape brush in order to get these flat looking surfaces.

Defenitely check out Zacharias Reinhardt’s youtube channel if you want to learn more about sculpting in Blender:

No idea what your current skill level is, but generally, I’d get a better understanding of the basics first. Modelling techniques, topology, materials, lighting etc…Once you build up some of these skills, you can start applying them to your own projects. Be patient. It’s 100% worth it I think, plus, the learning process can be pretty fun, and challenge to you to model things you wouldn’t normally think of modelling. Blender Guru is always a good place to start. CG cookie on YT aswell have some of their archive on there. There is a whole bunch of blender tutorials out there to help beginners.

Good Luck
