After some simple tests with Photon light included in YafRAY’s rendering engine, I got this interesting result. Will do nicely for the potion I’m working on. WARNING: Picture is big.

a light that shoots photons or beams of light that are to be traced to create effects such as Global illumination and caustics. Yafray currently supports photons as do a plethora of other renderers.
