Fish animation

Here’s some fish I animated using curve deform while moving along the Y axis (with a softened noise effect added to the F-Curve). Relatively simple to get a somewhat convincing result compared to using the rigging method I think.

  • I haven’t yet worked out how to keep the head vertices of the fish ‘stiff’ while still connected to the body and follow the curve.
  • Similarly being able to make the fins flap using an armature while still connected the the body would be good without them being influenced by the curve deform.
