Hi all - First time posting for support, but I can’t figure this one out.
I’ve recently moved a project over to an M1 Mac, so guessing there’s a setting I need to tweak. I’m using a panoramic camera (fisheye equisolid) that looks as expected when rendering, but is squashed in rendered viewport shading (cycles). On my old mac, the rendered viewport preview looked as expected, i.e the same as a rendered frame. I’ve added a couple of images to hopefully help with the discussion. Any help really appreciated.
My solution isn’t the best answer, because I don’t know the, “why,” myself of why Blender does this, but if you match Lens = 18 you should have matching views in your 3D viewport & Render. This is because 18 millimeters for your camera lens is the default camera value.

Hey, thanks for responding. I tried that out, but I think it’s a bug with Blender 3.1.2 (Apple Silicon). I’ve also tried an Intel build of Blender with the same project file, and the problem is gone. Weird, but seemingly just an issue with the Apple Silicon build.
