I think im getthing the hang of this RVK thing…

divix codec encoded…
used caustics generator to make caustic output, animated into an avi with SSMM, applied as texture to a spotlight… boom…
i hear some people snickering, but this is my first attempt at animating anything…so hush

rvk’s actually seemed easier… i get weird effects trying to figure out IK solvers and stuff…

i guess i havent found a IK tutorial that made sense to me yet. I get weird things happen when i try to create boned and add contraints…
rvks i just pick what i want and move it and boom…it moves
care to suggest any good tutorials?

Sounds like you have been looking at old tutorials, from when armatures were reffered to as IKs. Try the online documentation, or look for a more recent tutorial. There is a list of tutorials at the top thread of Blender general. Good luck,…if you can’t find a good one there, say something and I’ll see if I can scare one up for you.

Here’s one that is brand new,…but Blender is changing so fast, I can’t guaruntee it is all current. I found it to be very good though.
