This is my first project as a beginning Blender artist. It uses the smoke simulator included in Blender 2.5, and some nice procedurally generated textures. (If you’re a fan of the Inheritance Cycle, then you’ll recognize this as the main protagonist’s sword, Brisingr)
@Tirian888 Thanks! Really? Hmm, maybe I could achieve that with a field distorter, or more simply by raising the fade time of the particles. I’ll look into it.
