Flapjack lowpoly artwork

I’m still in love with this cartoon style since I was kid and I was literally enjoying with every single detail I but and I hope you like it.
I used cycles render and substance for the barrel and chair and every thing like textures and the big mouth background and the dessert in the barrel I painted in photoshop.

Wow i thought it was all drawn, really impressive you imitated a illustrative style in 3d. thanks for showing behind the scenes… Theres alot i can learn from it just by looking at the typology.

AAA I loved this show too! It was so freaky and funny. Fantastic job you’ve done here capturing the style

Looks really nice. How did you get the shadows, do you have a shadowcatcher?

yes it’s shadow catcher

Right, sorry I figure that’s a dumb question but I’m new to cycles and for some reason I can’t get my shadow catcher to work (it renders opaque). Did you have to use compositing?
