Do you remember the old Flash Gordon serials? Well, I thought I would model one of the ships belonging to Ming the Merciless. I’m in the middle of riveting on the hull plating. Ship design back in those days was not very imaginative, but it’s a fun project. All C&C welcome.

Have finished the hull plating. It looks a little too “just out of the box” so now I need to add some colour and dirty it up a bit. C&C welcome.

¿is the texture of the ship a texture or actually a model?
The hull plating, rivets and tail fin flaps are UV mapping. Everything else is modeled.
Almost finished. There are a few variations of this ship so I took a little liberty with some of the details. One thing about them is that they were seldom “beat up” looking…in fact I’m pushing it a bit by having blast marks. C&C always welcome.
