Here is a graphic element I needed for work (TV doco stuff), it’s flashing blue lights like police or emergency lights.
It’s really quick to render but is quite low res, feel free to scale up the render size. Animated over 2 secs at 25 fps.

No worries. But I wasn’t sure where to put it, as a freebi file that is.
Blendswap would be the ideal online space, as it’s properly tagged and indexed over there.
The Blender Wiki should also be possible, in a user contributions/examples/other section.
