Hi, I’m brand new to blender (I began using it on Friday last week, it’s the first piece of 3D software I’ve ever used) and I’m having an issue with my first ever project.
I’m doing a minecraft animation for my son, but I’m getting a flickering and I’m not sure what’s causing it, any (plain English) help or pointers would be greatly appreciated. I’ve tried searching but cannot find an answer, if it’s been asked before I’m sorry and could you post a link?
I’ve circled 2 conseutive frames in this image, you can see the texture changes to miss a grey triangle, in a 150 frame animation, this happens 42 times and it’s baffling me
here’s a vid of it, you can see it on the face

using cycles, lighting is from world background texture (a sky HDRI image), texture is my own, character is a minecraft character rig from here: http://www.rymdnisse.net/download/blender-rigs/minecraft-blender-rig/
Please can anyone help?
I’ve searched for answers myself for 2 days before posting here
thanks
