Floppy cables on an irregular surface

I am designing a game where the cables are laying on an irregular cave floor. Getting the lofted shape to conform to the terrain is VERY difficult. Is there any way to get the cables to “flop” on to the cave floor.

can you select some verts on the floor then copy and seperate then make as bevel curve to get cables!

Make cables with curves, increase curve resolution to 64.
Add ShrinkWrap-modifier to curves: target=your cave floor, mode=projection,Axis:Z.
Apply ShrinkWrap-modifier and convert curves to mesh and convert mesh back to curves, add curves bevel depth and bevel resolution.
