Hello,
I am creating a flower ( http://wallpaper.travelblog.org/Wallpaper/pix/tb_mecsek_yellow_flower.jpg )
and I’m probably going to need a lot of help from you guys with the materials and modeling the middle part.
This is what I got so far:
I am trying to get this as real as possible because this is for a short film I’m making.

What is this for the middle part? A cylinder? Sorry can’t really tell Is it set smoothed? That can really help ya out there. your first petal looks pretty good. This could be good practice, so just keep working on it.

Not a bad start I reckon. So are you going to copy and paste lots of times or use some other method like spin-dup ? Keep updating!

Thanks for the comments.
I gonna copy and past, then change some of them up.
Any suggestion on the stem material? I thinking that I should add a small particle system because if look closely at the flower’s stems it has little hairs.
Still have to change up the pedals a bit.

Looks cool. I think the Spin-Dup would be a lot faster then you can mess with them further but it’s your project! Good luck!

Thanks Dudebot13.
I just started over because I didn’t like the look of it at all.
I’m going to need some help with the materials, I want them to look as close as possible to the ones in the pic.

Played around with the middle pat a bit and got a good result.
But now I need real help with the materials, dose anybody have suggestions? Any advanced tutorials?
I’m sure that I need to play around with SSS and composition a lot.
