Fluid being absorbed by the earth?

Hi, is there a way to have fluid being absorbed by an object?
I want to create a simulation of water that splash on the ground and being absorbed by it efter a couple of seconds.
Also, since water neither bounce or slide (much) on the ground; can I lower its bounciness and “sliding”?

There is an outflow object to remove fluid from a domain. You can keyframe it’s Enabled value to cause fluid to be removed at a certain time.

One possible way may be to have what you want to absorb, be filled with water then run its animation in reverse? :slight_smile:
