Fluid keeps wiggling on the floor


I’m experimenting with the Blender fluid simulation, and I’m wondering how I can stop the fluid parts and drops that have landed on the bottom of the domain or an obstacle from continuing to wiggle? It seems that the fluid mesh is continuously recalculated, even when it has stopped moving.

Try increasing your final resolution and take a look at the higher rez sim. I’ve experienced the same thing, but with lower resolution settings. Things seem to clear up as the resolution increases.

Tried it, but the same problem reappears. The higher resolution yields extra overall detail, but the drops that rest on the floor keep wiggling / moving / changing shape. :frowning:
