Fluid Object behaves like outflow object in fluid sim

Hello everyone!

I want to make following fluid sim: a glass with liquid is falling on the ground with the liquid is splattering on the floor.

I did the animation with GE and assigned the IPOs to the glass object.

When I start the sim it looks like in the first picture. All seems to be ok.

But at the end of the sim it looks like in the second one. The fluid seems to inflate and it expands rapidly. At the end of the sim i have much more fluid than I have started with.

I played around a little with the resolution parameter and world size, but I always end up with this.
Please, does anyone know how to fix this issue?
