This is a short video showcasing the scalability of fluid particle simulations in Blender when increasing the resolution and detail level, and how CubeSurfer is able to keep up with it to produce a decent final mesh.
CubeSurfer addon is quite robust, but it is a little bit unstable. The rendered out animation lags behind by one frame (the creator, PyroEvil, thinks this issue may be innate to Blender), and sometimes Blender will crash suddenly when rendering. Other than that, it does a fantastic job!
