Been looking through the fluid simulation and was just wondering if there was a setting that would make a fluid collision object act like a rigid body (i think) so that when the fluid hits the object it knocks it over and has a full interaction with the fluid sim??
It can, and has, been done. Just not in Blender. I don’t think it would be a simple thing to do with Bullet as it’s implemented right now, and the fluid sim would probably need some updating as well. I think both things are planned for GSOC (Bullet integration may have been last year even?), so maybe in the near future some cooler stuff will be possible!
