Hi all,
I’ve been experimenting the Blender fluid sim for a while now, but lately I’ve been getting some very wierd results. the first frame of my fluid sims will turn out fine, but the second frame and on are all identical as shown in the attached picture. the fluid which is not dynamic, and is simply in static contact with the domain boundary seems to be the only fluid still present.
I’ve tried many different settings, and most times the fluid simulation works fine the first time, then when I redo the simulation with different settings, or simply increase the resolution, these are the results I get.
the second frame shown is repeated for the rest of the simulation, though Blender certainly takes the time, and resources to calculate all 250 frames. Note, that this problem is repeated on all computers I have tried it on, in blender 2.56a, and 2.49, but I have not tried in Linux yet.
