Fly me to the moon

Fly me to the moon is a love story about two flies. It’s my very first Blender movie. Inspired by the image of a fly , made by 4 year old Stella in Sweden.

As I am new to the Blender community comments and suggestions are most welcome.

There are 3 things that needed to be added for this video to stand out.

  1. Since this is a night scene add the Moon and stars to make the environment seem like it’s at night.
  2. Add some terrain and grass to make it feel realistic as the bugs flies around.
  3. It would be nice to add some clouds float across the moon.

There are 2 things you need to improve on.

  1. The bird’s eyes needed to be subsurfed.
  2. You could use a path as the tears drop from his eyes and slide off the petal. For any kind of water, that is what happens when water touches a petal.

Thanks for the comment, very helpful. Must find out then how to make grass (particles?), and clouds, and how to use a path
