I’m really sorry but I couldn’t find anything about fog stuff in the GE.
I would like the objects that are out of the range of the camera to fade in instead of popping up…
Sorry, Please and Thankyou.

there are 2 places…
in material settings, click on the world propertys (globe icon) or press F8
Tick the “mist” button
the color controls the fog color and there is a few other settings to set the distance and depth…
you also must select your camera and press F4 to enable the fog there too…
Is the mist just for the renders or is it for the GE as well because I can’t get it to work right.
Are we both talking about the GE?
yea, it should work for you…
in the world settings you must have values in all 3 mist fields:
Sta:
Di:
Hi:
I do
STA 1.0
Di :90
Hi 10
be sure to tweak the color for the fog too…
White or a off-green dull grey woks best for me
the camera has a mist button thta must me pressed too, select the camera and press f4 to find it
I don’t think the “Hi” value affects the fog in GE. At least, I haven’t been able to get it to do anything different. Does it work, p00f?

Hi Stu
you must add a value in all 3 fields…
it is like
where it starts, where it ends, and where it starts fadeing from thin to ultra thick fog.
this is all in blender units…
Hover you mouse over each field and read the tool tips
It is a great effect for any game, and it it a 0 CPU hit… just a simple OpenGL trick…
Cool I found how to do that thanks!
Thank you, p00f!
