follow object

I think this is a simple question (coming from a simple mind). How do you get an object to follow another. Example: Say I have a turret on the ground and a plane flys over, I want the turret to follow the plane as it flys by. The turret is stationary, and it will be firing. I guess what I am trying to say is How do I get the empty that is adding an object to track another object. Example 2: Say there are two flying objects, one controlled by player the other with AI. How do I get it to follow the player and also how do I get the bullet that fires from the AI flying object to continuously be pointing towards player, so that the random firing of the AI flying object will atleast be close to the mark. I am sure I did it before, but cant figure it out now. Sometimes I think I forget as much as I learn with blender. If you can help, would be greatly appreciated, Thanks,

Hello

euh…maybe I’m missing something…
Anyway, here’s a simple answer
To make an object follow (point) to another (basicly)
add a Edit Object Actuator to the object that will follow
with a Track to option and enter the name of the followed
object in the name field.
Enable the 3D button too (if necessary)

Nope, I was missing something, I think my brain…Its been a long night. That was what I needed, Thanks OTO…

The NDN…

in the animations window theres a time offset slider, so the track to isn’t exactly pointing at the object, meaning it’ll looks like its turning slower
