I forgot how to group two objects together so that they when you click either and move them, all of it moves.

Well to group object, you select them all and then hit Ctrl G. If you want to move them, you select one of them and hit Shift G and select siblings. Then all the ones in the same group will move together.
Another way is to parent them to one object and then you can move them all when you move that one object.
