Forgot how to save animations to export to godot or any game engine?

I have forgotten which of the three buttons in Action Editor, from the “F” button (save this data block even if it has no users, button) to the ‘Push Down’ and ‘Stash’ button are used at any point to save the animations I’ve made so they’ll show up as separate animations in Godot when I export with my ‘Better Collada exporter’ with all animations selected.

The video tutorials I’ve been following on exporting and animating in Godot all seem to skip this crucial step.
