If I understand correctly, a guru is supposed to be a leader, or getting away from the new age implications someone wise and knowledgeable. Monkeys, on the other hand, spend their time eating termites, gratifying themselves, and sleeping.
Therefore, shouldn’t Forum Monkey be low level and Forum Guru be higher?
Crap I came up with in about 10 seconds: After you’ve been wise and knowledgeable and helpful for 500 posts, you get to take a rest and act like a monkey.
Or maybe it’s just that monkeys are funny.

Lol, but I’ve got a question. How to get an moderator, admin, or whatever. I’ve been on many forums, and they said, when you help newbies, or just post great help or whatever that another people can use, like tutorials, sources and much more. You’ll be promoted to Moderator.
I’m for a several months, just a forum monkey, but I hate that name. When does it chance?
Uuuhhhmmm… I think you become a Moderator or Admin in elysiun, only in the case the other Admins want to punish you for your sins…

Anyway, to be serious… I don’t really know what you need to become one, but being a Mod or an Admin, is a huge responsibility… But I think, that helping newbies and posting stuff, isn’t enough…
Not only you have to seem helpful and work hard, but you also have to be able to understand the “thin red line” between being a forum Moderator and a FORUM GOD!!! I don’t think that the guys who run this board would be willing to hand over, excessive authority to potential troublemakers…
Personnaly I don’t know about Moderatorship and that short of things, but I sure as hell, would like to see some new, extra funny ranks, added… Just for the fun of it…

We can all work out how long someone has been on the forums, because the date joined is shown on every post.

In any case, I don’t recall kib or anyone of the guys who run elysiun, making any promises that if someone is a “good kid” he will be rewarded with Moderatorship…
So if anyone has such high hopes, I think it’s best to re-evaluate his point of view… (please don’t missunderstand me, I’m not referring to someone in particular here, I’m speaking in general…)
We behave nice and we help eachother, because that’s what we must do… And because it’s the right thing to do…
Not because we should expect “something” in return…
I like the title progression as it is. By the way, what is the full list of titles and the requirements for them? I think I know most of it, but I don’t know what the “A” and “B” are in the list I made below.
