(copy and paste into browser if link doesn’t work)

i have no idea what the point of game , is, the physics are wierd when you move that small thiing around…and click it shotts then falls…

this ain an fps…its just wierd…

i didnt like it, no offense of course…

i looked at ur screen…mine isnt like that…insted ur far away and th gun looks small and ur looking at a wall…

Not bad, it’s a good start. I couldn’t make the gun fire though… Nice architecture as well. Why are you still using v2.25?

eQuilibrium: The game is saved in top view, try pressing 0 to go to camera view.

thanks for the replys

remember, this is just a very very small demo, there’s going to be alot more to it than just this room.

gorgan_almi - thats really wierd that it doesn’t shoot, try to jump by clicking the right mouse button, see if that works. and i’m using the old version because this crappy computer i have won’t let me see the buttons for some reason in the new ones :expressionless: (probably somthing with my video card)

Also, could someone point me in the direction of a good texture baking script, i want to see how that would look

thanks in advance

there is an error when you shot to the sky

It’s nice… but , dunno how, I went IN to a column, i was in it! :o
Bye!

I might have a fix to that  go into the buttons window and press “home” on your keyboard and you should be able to see everything.

Anyway, great small demo, the shadey enemy is pretty cool too, I like how he fades out after you shoot him about 5 times. The bullet holes were weird looking though, I looked at them really close up and they seemed to look like cd’s  they should be darker because I don’t think I have ever seen a white bullet hole

it worked perfectly for me, and i thought it was brilliant!

Very clean. I like it. The physics are a bit messed up but its very responsive and very nice.

thank you all for the replys

Pikol - what happened when you shot into the sky? I want to know so that I might be able to fix it

Tigy - that’s a major problem, it happens to me too. I have absolutly no idea how to fix it (or fake a fix). anyone who has any idea if this is stopable could you pm me, thanks

facemania - thanks for the suggestion, but it’s not those buttons that are the broblem, all of the menus are blank, like the file munu and the window type selector :-? . thanks for the comp on the shadow thing, it took me a while to make the animated texture for him  . oh, and the bullet holes are just ones that i took from another game i made before, it’s what bulletholes look like in metal(or atleast how the “007 agent under fire” game says they do), i’ll make a new one for the bricks

thanks again for all the c and c , keep it coming

I’m not looking at your blend right now but I imagine it is because the camera is passing through the wall. I assume the camera is not the actor it is only parented to the actor, but its position is such that when the actor collides with the wall the camera is already passing through the wall. The solution is to either move the camera back a bit, or make the actors collision sphere a bit bigger.

As far as texure baking is concerned, it never used to be possible but I think theres a script for doing it included with Blender 2.37a. It won’t work for 2.25 though… time for a new graphics card me thinks! :stuck_out_tongue:
