I recently bought a new laptop that seems to have some form of problem with all blender versions, but I can’t figure out what the problem is.
I’m having no problems starting Blender. However, for some strange reason that can’t figure out, every action I take will only show after a delay.
If I click for a menu (any menu), it doesn’t appear until I mouse over where the menu should appear. If I select a mesh and - for example - push Z (to make it see-though), I have to in some way interact with Blender before I can visualy see the change, like roating the view a bit, or clicking somewhere.
If I click the hokey to show view from front, it moves the view to front view, only it stops just slightly before it gets there, and it doesn’t move to the correct postion until I - once again - perform some other action like clicking somewhere or changing view again.
It’s hard to explain but think like this:
It’s like every time I do something in Blender, it takes a picture of the current screen, and shows me the picture of the previous screen instead of the latest. When I do something else, like moving the view, it takes a picure of it and once again sends me to the picture before it instead of the latest picture. It’s like watching a clip which has 10 frames, only it’s showing me frame 1 instead of 2, and framde 2 instead of 3 etc.
I have no idea why or how this is. I’ve tried Blender versions 2.58 until 2.63 and I have the same problem, so I think it’s something with my computer.
I have an ASUS Notebook K53E Series with a 64-bit operating system, Windows 7 and 4 Intel® Core™ i3-2310M CPU 2.10 GHz processor.
I think the graphics card is Intel® HD Graphics Family.
Does anyone have any ideas?
