Hi all !
This is my first post here on Blender Artist
hope I will start post more here since I’m a new Blender user.
This is my version of the amazing Frank Frazetta’s Dark Kingdom art.
It was very difficult to turn the painting into a collectible statue. But I’m very happy with the result.
This work was done during Álvaro Ribeiro’s workshop. The main focus was to use z-brush to make collectible statues, I really recommend this course.
I use Z-brush for the sculpture and Blender 2.8 for the render.
If you like if follow me on my instagran for more !
nice, is a project prepared for #3d-printing?
yes it is !
I could not post more images here because I’m a new user. But, if you see the instagran link there are more images, including one with all the cuts and plugs.
thanks for the comment,
I recommend you mate, as soon as you can post images let us see the photos of the 3D print
p.s. Nice the Rolling Stone bas-reliefs … also those for 3d printing?
What scale are you printing this at? All that fine detail seems like it will be obliterated
Thank you !!
yes, the rolling stone posters are alredy printed in a different material ! there is a photo of the final product in the post, and a video aswell
Thank you very much, it means a lot !!
Yeah, you are right.
I think deppents a lot on the size of the print and the quality of the printer too.
