I’ve decided to make this add-on free as I think it should be something that comes default with Blender. I really like being able to change materials by just stepping back and forth clicking on arrows, instead of having to use the drop-down selection UI. Just something I wish Blender had by default so I made it. If you’d like it, it’s now free:
