Free AI program or plugin?

Hello

you saw this release:

is there any free AI program or plugin?
from what I’ve seen here, stable diffusion for blender has a monthly fee

I want to compose images to use as a reference in traditional oil painting, with real paint and brush.

a generic question:
which AI image generating program is the most powerful?

it cost

Given the volatility of this topic, I’m going to pre-emptively jump in here and emphasize that replies need to answer the asked questions, and discussion about AI/the ethics of AI/the future of AI/AI vs anything else is not suitable for this thread. Thanks!

AUTOMATIC1111 is currently one of the most popular webUIs to generate AI images locally, thanks to your GPU (no fee, no points, etc):

CEB Stable Diffusion (Blender add-on):

Note that there is a 2$ discount code if you want to get the add-on for free.

btw, CEB Stable Diffusion should soon have the same features than AI Render to enhance 3D renders, but processed thanks to the user’s GPU.

The stable diffusion subscription isn’t a monthly fee, it is points based. You start out with 200 points, and it’s 10 per thousand after that, which is quite a bit. 200 is actually quite a bit. I think it’s just a token or two per image. I haven’t tried the addon yet, but it looks cool.

Hello

thanks for the tip : AUTOMATIC1111

it is difficult to install.
Is there an easier way to install?
a detailed tutorial with images ?

I can’t do the install on the 4 item :

Automatic Installation on Windows

  1. Install Python 3.10.6, checking “Add Python to PATH”
  2. Install git.
  3. Download the stable-diffusion-webui repository, for example by running git clone https://github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui.git.
    4. Place model.ckpt in the models directory (see dependencies for where to get it).
  4. (Optional) Place GFPGANv1.4.pth in the base directory, alongside webui.py (see dependencies for where to get it).
  5. Run webui-user.bat from Windows Explorer as normal, non-administrator, user.

after installing where do I find the file that opens the program?

thank you so much

I don’t think there is one- I think you have to run it from a terminal, but you should be able to use this .bat file (which will be in the base directory):

Run webui-user.bat from Windows Explorer as normal, non-administrator, user.

I haven’t understood at which step you are stuck. Did you successfully followed each step?

For the step 1, after you installed Python, have you modified the webui-user.bat file, adding your Python Path (pointing to the folder where Python is installed on your system)?

It should be something like this:

set PYTHON=C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python310\python.exe

Here is the content of my webui-user.bat file:

@echo off

set PYTHON=C:\Users\xan2622\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python310\python.exe
set GIT=
set VENV_DIR=
set COMMANDLINE_ARGS= --autolaunch
git pull

call webui.bat

Note that I added “--autolaunch” at the end of the "set COMMANDLINE_ARGS= " line in order to make the web browser open http://127.0.0.1:7860 automatically after double-clicking on the webui-user.bat file. Otherwise, you would have to go to this URL by yourself, as mentioned in the console.

I also added git pull to make the webui-user.bat script update the AUTOMATIC1111 folder, syncing it with the latest changes at https://github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui

Thank you for your help
but i’m not getting it

if you know any tutorials from the beginning with images or videos I would appreciate if you could send them to me.

thank you again

Hello

great tip
tomorrow I will try

Have a problem uninstalling what was installed and doing the process from the beginning?

thank you so much

Is there any plans to launch programs or features in programs , such as photoshop , for composing AI images like these plugins do ?

thanks

Here are some third party plugins:

For Photoshop :

For Krita :

For Photopea :

  • Go to Window > More > Dall-E

But Adobe themselves already use AI for some of Photoshop features:

I followed one of the videos to install the : AUTOMATIC1111

everything went fine until running : webui-user.bat
scrolled this screen below:
and did not give the address to open the program.

I already tried to install before without following the video and without success.
Can be it ?
Is there a way to fix this error?

thank you so much

You are trying to install AUTOMATIC1111 in a sub-folder that is located inside several other folders. That makes a long path:
D:\Downloads\AI\programas\Automatic1111 Stable Diffusion Web UI\stable-diffusion-webui-master\stable-diffusion-webui-master\ ...

Create a folder named “AI” and inside it “AUTOMATIC1111” at the root of your D drive (the shorter the better). Then restart the installation from there.

You should end up with a path like this: D:\AI\AUTOMATIC1111\stable-diffusion-webui\
or even D:\AI\stable-diffusion-webui\ (if you decided to run the installation script from the “AI” folder).

the installation was successful

How do I access the program/interface?

I already tried the address: http://127.0.0.1:7860/
and didn’t open anything

thank you again

Run webui-user.bat, wait, then go to http://127.0.0.1:7860/

Thanks a lot for the help
without you I wouldn’t have made it
